EAT & DRINK
the pool bar at the tuxon
Drawing from the diverse inspirations of the American Southwest, The Pool Bar at The Tuxon is a little Rodeo Drive meets the rodeo parade. It’s dharma bums and caballeros relaxing poolside in the warming sun of the high desert of Southern Arizona.
Created in collaboration Jess Keene and Drew Record, a native Tucsonan who’s no stranger to a Michelin star, The Pool Bar at The Tuxon offers a hand-curated food and beverage program focused on Tucson’s culinary offerings. Dappled by near constant sunlight, this waterside oasis serves up delectable crudités and hors d'oeuvres from a bygone era. The drinks have a disco sheen, while still being rooted in classic recipes.
From Craft to Cocktails
Drinks with a bit of disco-sparkle, but still rooted in the American classics, served by our knowledgeable team will quench your thirst. An old-fashioned cocktail with a wisp of smoke and the undeniable smell of petrichor, that intoxicating aroma of the desert during the first fat drops of a monsoon shower. For the hotter days, enjoy cold boozy slushees, topped with fresh tropical fruits, spiked with a hint of chili and citrus. Mezcal soaked marigolds, nopales infused spritzes, and mesquite blossom honey will draw you deep into your desert hideaway.
Enjoy a drink inside the comfortable confines of our bar or lounging in the shadow of “A” Mountain in one of our poolside cabanas. Either way, it is high tide at The Tuxon and you don’t want to be the last to discover the Old Pueblo’s newest secret.
Bites are served with a nod to the kind of parties your folks threw when Linda Ronstadt was first hitting the airwaves and letting the world in on the secret of this place called Tucson. Nosh on fondue, crudités, marinated veggies, puffy pastries, chips and dips, all driven by market fresh seasonality-- and of course, full of Southwestern flair.
